beltS AND sizing
BELT is an essential component to tool belt, choosing the right style and size is critical to having the perfect toolbelt

curved belt
We have developed our flagship CURVED BELT with ergonomics and comfort in mind
Hipbone is the strongest and most durable bone in your body, therfore it is a perfect platform to carry a heavy tool belt and our CURVED design is tailored for that
The CURVE in the belt is designed to wrap around your hipbones and contour the natural taper of your body. This provides even preasure without developing hot spots, edges digging into your body and uneven or loose fit
While the CURVED belt is said to be the most comfortable option on the market for general use. On lighter tool belts, we could suggest LIGHT VERSION of our CURVED BELT or if you are looking for the most minimal option, STRAIGHT belt can offer that

BELT LINERS

Wool felt liner, we consider this as the best material to have for belt liner. Its soft and comfortable, breathable and has natural antibacterial properties, preventing odor development. With time will mold to your body

3D mesh liner is good option for lighter setups or if you are working in extremely hot environment. Its breathable and provides extra padding

Full Cordura liner is classic option, popular with most other toolbelt brands. We consider it the worst option for toolbelt liner as it creates non breathable barrier on your body, provides no padding and is rough to touch
BELT SIZING
We measure our belts by padding lenght, the actual belt is much longer
We recommend having 4-6" or 10-15cm gap in the front, between both ends of belt padding
This rule allows for 2 things:

Comfortable fit where belt padding is not going to cause discomfort when bending, but still has good load bearing on hips

Enough adjustability for pouch position through seasons. With more layers your pouches tend to move towards back. With a belt that is too small, you might not be able to position pouches to sit on center of your hips.
There are two ways of reliably measuring for your belt size

Measuring your current toolbelt and using that as reference for belt size

Measuring your waist while wearing single layer with seamstress tape or rope at toolbelt height (usually at the top of your hipbones)
Do not measure your waist with tape measure
Do not choose your belt size by your pants size
